PowerCLI Stack

We’re huge fans of both StackOverflow (and sister sites) and PowerCLI so we were confused when we executed a search on all 3 of the stack sites (StackOverflow, ServerFault, and SuperUser) for “PowerCLI” and got just 1 result. There’s a big thriving community in the VMWare community forums so what gives?

We theorize that there are a couple of reasons why this is so; 1) the PowerCLI community members don’t fit discretely into either the ‘admin’ or ‘developer’ crowd and 2) the signal/noise ratio on the stack sites is higher than they’re used to on the VMWare community forums.

To find out if we’re right we’ve decided to put our money where our theories are and fund a PowerCLI-centric stack site. We’ve applied for the StackExchange beta. All we need now is the blessing from Joel Spolsky and Jeff Atwood.
